Chief Justice Rabner announced that Judge Jablonski has been promoted to the Appellate Division. He will serve on Part A.
Appointed to the Hudson County bench in 2013, Judge Jablonski has touched many bases there. He began his tenure in the Civil Division, where he served as the supervising judge for the Special Civil Part. He then was designated as the vicinage’s complex litigation judge. From 2018-21, Judge Jablonski was the Presiding Judge of the Chancery Division. Thereafter, he became the Assignment Judge, the position he held until he was tapped for the Appellate Division.
Judge Jablonski is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Before taking the bench, he was in private practice from 1997-2013. He also served in the Office of the Public Defender and was a municipal public defender for the town of Kearny.
